There are numerous Edwin Sandovals in Maryland. Surely LE checked them and the two employers listed on his clothing. It seems likely IMO he was in uniform and Edwin is his name. A more precise age range would helpful for us.

I think the city name is misspelled. I only find an Adelphi, MD, not Adlephi. Anyone else? (ETA: it is Adelphi)

This case seems solvable, IMO.

I spoke with a human resource employee of CBRE Technical Services today and was told that even with a name they wouldn’t be able to release any information or confirm that he was ever employed there (not surprising). It appears to be a rather large company.

Bethke Landscaping, however, proved to be a promising lead. The lady I spoke with said the shirt found near his body was most definitely one of theirs, and she vaguely remembered this case and even his name. The company services all of Maryland, but she said quite a number of their employees live in and around Adelphi. She mentioned a place with “Casa” in the name, but couldn’t remember its significance (if any).

She told me to call back tomorrow when her boss was there because they’d probably recall more and possibly be able to find employment records dating back to the time of “Edwin’s” discovery. She wasn’t familiar with CBRE Technical Services, but we both agreed he could have easily been associated with both companies.

Hopefully they have a record of Edwin. I’ll keep y’all updated.

Unfortunately, today’s efforts weren’t as fruitful as I’d hoped. The person I spoke with yesterday told me “her guys” (I’m assuming current employees) remember a man with an entirely different name. She said “they” (again, assuming employees) tend to use multiple names, and without a photo of “Edwin”, they couldn’t be of much more help.

So, maybe “Edwin” isn’t associated with the Bethke Landscaping shirt, or he was using multiple aliases.

I found this man, Eduardo Masoller, whose disappearance could fit the circumstances in this case. Ocean City is over 100 miles from Adelphi, and outside the 30-mile radius investigators suspect his body to be, but it’s also on the way to Ohio (where the suspect fled to).

*sigh*
