April Lynne Snell was last seen by family in 1999. Investigation determined that April Lynne Snell was last seen several days prior in the company of her friend, Catharyn Ruth Garner, and two men. Snell has not been seen since that time. Garner was found murdered several weeks later in a wooded area off of Athol Road in Quantico. Snell had several young children at the time of her disappearance and indications are that she would not have voluntarily left them for such an extended period.

as a possible match. The info included caused me to be pretty positive I was barking up the right tree. The info included in the UIP profile (also described as a tank top) and initials "C.S." handwritten on the tag 3. She had a lot of children. C.S. could be one of their initials. However, learning the location of her friend, sealed the idea because she was found 12 miles away. Today, I saw an update made to her profile on Doenetwork. It removed all of the information you shared above and I do not know why. I have grown to notice majority of profiles for people of color have little to no information. I am not saying this is intentional. I am just saying that I have noticed it. I am extremely grateful for Charley because it helps me intuitively go in the right direction. I pray her DNA is compared. Closure is a whole lot better than watching the door and waiting for a call... my heart hurts thinking about her children still waiting for her to come home. I have personal knowledge and have to look at my granddaughter as a reminder what waiting 6 days feels like to find out mommys never coming back.

Can you elaborate as to what information has been removed? It all appears to be there to me, unless I am missing something?

About 9 months ago I submitted this Jane Doe (UP6665 & UP10692) as a possible match for April. I never heard back but Jane Doe's profile was updated with no recent exclusions.

Jane Doe: her remains were found twice.
2007 remains case: The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
2012 remains case: The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

I still think these two need to be compared against each other.

Can you elaborate as to what information has been removed? It all appears to be there to me, unless I am missing something?

I wrote that post in an emotional state. I am referring to the information that they initially provided about the missing person circumstances at the time of disappearance. The original info in Namus and Doe stated that she left with a friend and to men in a car and she never returned for her children.
