I wish that NamUs was better at recording locations and other details that could help investigations. I live in the city, but this jewelry store has basically no evidence that it ever even existed online today. It would be so much easier to look into if we had a definite address for the store.

As it stands, it seems to me that NamUs is hastily put together and severely understaffed. Some pages stay up long after the individual has been identified/located. Others are full of typos and have no meaningful information. It's so sad.

I found that as well. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find much in terms of the store outside of the 1920s. Both Howard and Fayette were part of the main shopping district in Baltimore during the 70s, however.

The Department Store Museum has a fantastic map showing the shopping district during that time: https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-UEUwl6kUagk/UKVfzfYgnsI/AAAAAAAAa3M/zW3FAOY37yk/s1600/balto+map.jpg
