Mark Cobb, 44, is accused of engaging in a year-long texting relationship with a 9-year-old student, during which he allegedly requested and received explicit photos.

During a search of Cobb’s home, authorities discovered pictures and videos of other children being abused.

why does the teacher have the student's cell #?
this creep will get out and do it again - hopefully they have more charges pending from the other victims

“We know that there are other victims out there,” Prince George’s County State’s Attorney Aisha Braveboy said during a news conference Wednesday. “Sometimes we think that there might be other victims. In this case we know that there are other victims out there, and we want to get justice for them, too.”

According to charging documents, that search turned up “several hundred files depicting child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬.”

“We expect that if additional victims are local, that they will come forward to us, but at this time, we have the one victim that we know of,” Braveboy said. “But we do have images of other victims and we are going to try to identify them.”

It's all about the grooming and breaking down the child's natural barriers to create a trust.
"You can call me any time" "we can talk about anything" "it'll just be between us" etc.
It's the same old garbage the predators always use to worm their way into a victim's private life.

Most likely, yes. Pretty common in cases like this.

Hoping there will be some good, and helpful therapy.
