Annapolis Police are searching for a critically missing man who allegedly tried to rob a bank Friday. Authorities say Gregory Klemkowski, 22, of Annapolis is being sought on an arrest warrant for the attempted robbery of the Bank of America at 920 Bay Ridge Road.

The hold-up attempt was reported shortly before 5 p.m. Friday. Before the bank robbery, a series of incidents led family members to be concerned for Klemkowski’s welfare, police say.

Klemkowski may be traveling in a tan or silver Mazda sedan, possibly a Mazda 3, with unknown Maryland War of 1812 tags.

A Maryland man who was critically missing attempted to rob a bank in Annapolis on Friday and was arrested in North Carolina on Saturday, police say.

The man was identified as Gregory Klemkowski, 22, of Annapolis.
