Tuscaloosa man missing in Maryland

Police in Maryland are searching for a Tuscaloosa man who has been missing since Oct. 25.

<<Jonathan Howard, 43, has been living in Elkton, Md., for about a year and a half, his mother Linda Beasley said. The move was temporary, she said, and he intended to eventually return to Tuscaloosa, where he owns a dog grooming business.

Howard was last seen by a friend at 4 p.m. Oct. 25, she said.

“Now he has disappeared from the face of the Earth,” Beasley said.

Howard drives a silver 2012 Hyundai Veloster with an Alabama license plate that reads 63AW719.

He owns Doghouse Grooming Studio on McFarland Boulevard, which he called Jonathan's Grooming Studio for many years. His mother has been running the business while he has been in Maryland.>>

Elkton police looking for man missing since Oct. 25

ELKTON — Investigators are trying to find a man who has been missing since Oct. 25, when he was last seen at an Elkton motel, police reported.

<<Howard’s mother, who lives in Tuscaloosa, Ala., made the missing persons report over the phone on Saturday, after Howard’s friends and relatives in this area informed her that they hadn’t seen him in a while, according to Zurolo.

“He doesn’t have a permanent address. He usually lives in his car or stays with friends or stays at the Motel 6,” Zurolo said, adding that Howard was last seen at that Motel 6 in the 200 block of Belle Hill Road on Oct. 25.

Howard moved to his area because he has a friend who lives in Newark, Del., police reported.>>
