Endangered Missing
Missing Since: 01/09/2001
Missing From: Havre de Grace, Maryland
Date of Birth: 06/18/1961 (would be 58 today)
Age at Time of Disappearance: 39
Sex: Female
Race: White
Height: 5' 2"
Weight: 155-165 lbs.
Dentals: N/A
Fingerprints: N/A

Physical Description:
Caucasian female. Brown hair, blue eyes. (Note: Doe Network has her eyes listed as brown; her photos don't show her eye color very well.) Aul has a tattoo of a rose and a butterfly on her left breast and a tattoo of a woman's face in the shape of a half-moon under her right shoulder. She may have broken her toe.
Clothing/Jewelry Description:
A silver banded ring with a triangle design.
Medical Conditions:
Aul suffers from schizophrenia and requires medication to control her condition. She also has a long-standing drug addiction.
Circumstances of Disappearance:
Aul was last seen on January 9, 2001 at the Maryland Transportation Authority office located at the Hatem Bridge in Havre de Grace, MD. She'd gone there to visit her girlfriend, with whom she resided, and who was employed as an officer at the MTA.
While there, she got into an argument with her girlfriend and stormed out, driving away in an angry mood. (While it cannot be confirmed, it is believed the two argued about a possible drug relapse, as Aul had recently gotten out of rehab.) After that incident, no one ever heard from her again.
Her girlfriend notified the police that evening that Aul had not returned to their home. However, an official missing person report wasn't filed until Jan. 12, three days later, when Aul still hadn't come home. She never picked up her last paycheck from her job at a Pep Boys auto parts store in Bel Air, MD.
She had only been working there for a few days before her disappearance. Her blue 1997 Geo Tracker (SUV) was eventually found about a month later, locked and abandoned, on Pennsylvania Avenue in Baltimore, MD. The area was known for its drug activity. Investigators thoroughly examined the car for any evidence, but had no luck.
There were no signs of foul play, nor could they find anything that seemed to indicate her whereabouts or what happened to her. She allegedly did not have any friends or contacts in Baltimore or the immediate area. Just a few weeks before disappearing, she had been released from a drug/alcohol rehabilitation facility.
She had battled drug addiction throughout her life, and it is possible that she relapsed before going missing. Other than that, Aul and her girlfriend didn't have a history of domestic violence in their relationship, and her girlfriend isn't considered a suspect in her disappearance. Her ex-husband, who now lives in Georgia, has also been ruled out.
Aul led a somewhat transient lifestyle prior to her disappearance in 2001. She had no lines of credit, no bank accounts, and no cell phone - nothing that could be used to trace her activity or track any expenditures. She had been making payments on her car, but all payments ceased after she disappeared.
Aul's mother and sister lived in Pennsylvania at the time. She was close to her mother and kept in regular touch with her prior to her disappearance. (As of 2008, her mother is deceased.) Police have lost track of Aul's girlfriend, but they are still in contact with her sister. To this day, no one has heard from her.
Authorities are uncertain if she is still alive, and are interested in the circumstances surrounding her disappearance. Because of Aul's history of mental illness, it is still possible that she is alive, but perhaps doesn't know who she is. It is also a possibility that she has been living under an alias. Her case remains unsolved.
