Howard County police seek help to find missing man from Savage

Paul Mfodwo, 35, was last seen at his home in the 8500 block of Foxborough Drive around 5:30 a.m. Friday, county police said.

Mfodwo did not leave in his vehicle, nor did he take his wallet or cellphone, police said.

Police described Mfodwo as a Black man who is 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds and has with a short beard and black hair. He is possibly wearing a black-and-white sweater and black sneakers.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.

Howard County police are asking for the public’s help to locate a Savage man who was reported missing on Jan. 29

When a family member returned home later that morning, Mfodwo was not there. The family member became concerned for his wellbeing because of health issues and the cold weather and contacted police.

Police have since made extensive area checks, including the use of drones, and checked local hospitals, urgent care facilities, and businesses but have been unable to locate him.
