Found Safe MD - Sonia Akou Dossou, 32, Montgomery County, 30 June 2019

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 5th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Boyds woman.

Sonia Akou Dossou is described as a black female, 32 years old, standing 5’06” tall and weighing approximately 180 lbs. Dossou was last seen by family on June 30, 2019, around 11:30 pm. Dossou left her residence, located in the 14300 blocks of Kimono Circle in Boyds, driving a white Nissan Rogue with Maryland tags of 7CZ2700 with a “little league” sticker on the rear of the vehicle. Dossou may be heading to New York.

Police and family are concerned for Dossou’s emotional and physical well-being.

I found 2 FB pages for a Sonia Dossou, with profile pics that look just like her, but they both say she lives in Benin. Without some tie to the USA, I don't want to post links that might not be her. One of the FB pages has a post from May 2019, and has a listing of 125 friends with no USA residences listed.

I wonder why they think she might be driving to New York. I also wonder if she was driving her own vehicle, or if she is using a family members vehicle.
