Some interesting comments. I truly hope Colin's family will have all of the answers soon and that there will be justice in his case.

<<Arey was not reported missing until March 2018. Prior to his disappearance, he had studied art in New York City and had worked as a substitute teacher and an education technician in Bucksport, Maine. His family fears he met with foul play. His case remains unsolved.>>

Geez Louise, I had no idea this man had been associated with three suspicious deaths, in addition to Colin's disappearance.

From this article, quoted above:

According to Jennifer Dorman, a private investigator for Northland Investigation & Consulting, he was last seen at the Brewer Auditorium by his stepfather David Appleby. But according to Dorman and [reporter Jacqui] Fulton, there's been no evidence found to corroborate this, and further evidence into his disappearance has been scarce.

Arey is one of four individuals on the Facebook page, Justice for the Bucksport Four. On that list, it includes his mother Christy, and Fulton says they all have a connection to one person. David Appleby.

"I personally, and I know the private investigator believe that Colin confronted David and we think that, frankly we think that he murdered him and disposed the body..."

His mom, who would've looking for him because she really loved him, she was already passed away," said Fulton.

Are we thinking that Colin confronted David about how his (Colin's) mother died? Could homophobia potentially also be involved in Colin's disappearance?

David says he last saw Colin on January 25, 2017 but doesn't appear to show concern about him after that, despite knowing that Colin didn't have a license and was dependent on David to drive him everywhere.

Colin was reported missing a year later, on June 25, 2018. What was David's story during that whole time? That Colin was working in Bangor? That he learned to drive and got a car? That he was staying with friends? That he moved back to New York?

I feel like sadly we all know what happened. It's just a matter of proving it.
