ORRINGTON, Maine (NEWS CENTER) — Police in Orrington are asking the public for assistance in locating a missing woman who has Alzheimer's.

Police say Joan Warren, 73, first went missing at about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday and was last seen on Center Drive at about 1 p.m. heading up the mountain. They said she was wearing a white jacket, a blue shirt and brown shoes.

Warren is described as being 5 foot 3 inches tall and 150 pounds with short gray hair and brown eyes.

Thanks, Gardiner. The end of the road she was on is directly behind my house, through the woods, I would say about 4 miles. I've been keeping an eye open for her. There's skidder rails and snowmobile trails all up behind me.

Here's another article. She had to go a long way to get to where she was last seen, and climb Long Hill Rd to get to Center Drive from the Brewer Lake Rd. (this is part of my commute).
