Wow. Sometimes I wonder if someone is pushing these young men in. I used to bar hop there in the late 80s, early 90s, but we stayed along Fore St. We usually ended up at the Old Port Tavern until closing. I think we were well away from the water, though.

I'm sure hope he's found well away from the water. It's just too sad how this happens almost all the time. There has to be an explanation somewhere.

Very sad. I've been to the Old Port many times and never came near to the water. I even walked almost to the bridge drunk one night, alone. Stupid. I think it depends where one would fall. It might be hard to get out of the water, you'll have to swim around for stairs if there are any. The docks are pretty high up, and even the edges of where the water meets is quite long distance. Night time, drunk, unaware of the area of water it would be difficult to figure out how to get out.
