Found Deceased ME - Megan "Mason" Dorcy, 23, did not show up to be picked up, Bangor, 10 Mar 2022

The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Silver Alert for Megan/Mason Dorcy, 23, of Newburgh, Maine, who was last seen on the Odlin Road in Bangor. Dorcy is described as 5’3”, 170 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes.

On March 10, Dorcy was dropped off for an appointment at PCHC on the Odlin Road in Bangor and was supposed to meet people in Brewer for a ride back home to Newburgh, but did not arrive. Dorcy may be wearing an orange shirt.

Law Enforcement has learned that Dorcy has not taken medication in three days and there has been no bank account activity. It is unknown if Dorcy has a cell phone. Friends and family are concerned for her wellbeing.

Odlin Rd is quite a distance from Brewer. Odlin Rd is where the Bangor Mall is. There's a number of stores in that area. PCHC is on Union St, again quite a distance to walk. Seems strange that she was dropped off on Odlin Rd.

- The sentence above refers to 'they'. Do we know who 'they' are?
- PCHC offers a wide range of services, but do we know if Megan was there for physical or MH treatment?
- Do we know if she actually arrived at PCHC and had her scheduled appointment?

About PCHC

The fact that the article refers to Dorcy as a 'person' rather than a woman or man makes me think they're nonbinary and use they/them pronouns. So just Dorcy was dropped off, not multiple people.

Do we know how Megan/Mason was getting to PCHC? Was a parent, friend, or UBER service involved?

Hope they're doing okay. Mom says they have a bf near where they were dropped off, but that she's spoken with him several times and he's worried too.
I wonder what kind of meds they're not taking but should be??

If you look at the map for the bus route from Odlin Rd (mall) to Brewer, it has three different connecting buses. With that kind of situation, she could literally have ended up anywhere if she missed a connection and became disoriented.

BANGOR — Around 3 p.m. on Thursday of last week, Diane Demarest’s husband called her after their child, Mason, did not get off the bus at their usual stop. She immediately became concerned due to Mason’s history of self-harm.

Now, nearly a week later, Demarest fears the worst.
