"Terry Tucker Jr. was last seen by family on June 20, and later seen at a local business on Thursday, June 24. He hasn't been seen since.

WESTBROOK, Maine — The Westbrook Police Department is searching for a 32-year-old man and asking for the public's assistance.

Police said Terry Tucker Jr. was last seen by family on June 20 in Westbrook, and he was later seen at a local business last Thursday morning. He has not been seen since.

Tucker is a white man with brown hair and blue eyes, 5 feet 10 inches tall and about 155 pounds. He was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, grey shorts, and blue Nike sneakers.

Police said Tucker is known to frequent Westbrook and the Portland areas.

Westbrook police ask anyone with information to call them at 207-854-0644."

Police are focusing way too much on Terry's past (drugs, mental illness) and not considering the fact that he could have been met with foul play. We all have heard this way too many times: Police think the missing person up and left because they could have been on drugs and is in hideout or just decided to leave and they can't (won't) do anything because this person is an adult and is allowed to make these decisions.

• Terry has been addicted to drugs, yes, but that was years ago.
• Terry has a son, would he just up and leave his little boy?
• Terry seems to have a family that loves and misses him very dearly.

I kept coming across Nick as well, yes, I am looking into his disappearance as well. Strange. I seem to be coming across many many many more people around the same demographic that have recently gone missing from Maine.

Police say they have renewed their efforts to locate Terry Tucker Jr. of Westbrook, missing since June 20, but his mother believes, based on his behavior before he disappeared, that he died by suicide and she wants to find his body.

Tucker, 32 and the father of two young children, was last seen in Westbrook by his family at home. Despite tips police have received on his rumored whereabouts since then, Betsy Tucker Hope has spent her days searching for his body in the woods near her Prides Corner home. Now she’s hoping for help in her search, be it from law enforcement or volunteers.

WESTBROOK, Maine (WGAN) Investigators say human remains found in Westbrook on Halloween are those of a Westbrook man who was reported missing in June.

According to CBS 13 news, police say the remains recovered along the banks of the Presumpscot River were identified as 32-year-old Terry Tucker Jr.

That positive identification came on Thursday.

Police say the investigation into his death has been closed, but it is not considered suspicious.

I am at a loss for words. I got really close to this case and even helped search for him at one point. This is devastating. My thoughts are with his family and friends who NEVER gave up on Terry Jr.
