Salomon Monfiston, age 46 of Lynn, MA was visiting his sister in Tijuana, Mexico and was supposted to fly home Sunday night, Oct 22. A neighbor of his sister said that when she was leaving for work Sunday morning, she saw a vehicle with 4 men pull up in front of his sister's house, and one of the men was armed. She says the men forced him into the vehicle. The sister filed a missing person report in Tijuana and his wife filed a missing person report in Lynn, MA. Lynn PD is working with authorities in Mexico.

“That’s the last time anybody’s heard from him,” Lucien said.

His sister said that after Salomon Monfiston went missing, she was approached by a neighbor who said she witnessed him get kidnapped at gunpoint by a group of men on Sunday.

“(She) said that he was approached by four individuals who drew a gun on him,” Lucien said. “They escorted a vehicle and drove off.”

Lucien said Salomon Monfiston’s sister in Mexico contacted local authorities, but that it did not seem like there had been any progress since then.

Hi there! Yes this is a bad situation. Salomon was a home health aide. I know families who he has cared for and truly, Salomon was a good person that didn’t deserve this.
