Flint police search for missing 9-year-old girl
An endangered missing advisory issued Tuesday, July 17, by the Michigan State Police says Ajanae Rae Sherrod, 9, was last seen in the area of Blue Bell Beach, 5500 Bray Road.
She was last seen wearing a black leopard bathing suit with a long blue gown and riding in a maroon 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Ajanae was taken by a cousin three days ago and has not been returned to her mother, according to the advisory.
"Due to the text messages between the mother and cousin, the child could be in danger," per the advisory, as the cousin threatened to commit suicide.
