The family of a 16-year-old girl filed a missing person report with Detroit Police in hopes that they can help to find her and bring her home to safety.
On Monday, April 22, 2019, Akya Thomas was reported missing by her family. Akya was last seen in the 7000 block of Westwood in Detroit, at approximately 11:00 pm, on Sunday April 21, 2019.
Akya’s family is very concerned for her well-being.
Akya is described as a black female, 16 yrs. old, slim build, medium brown complexion.
She is in good mental and physical condition.
