TYPE OF INCIDENT: Missing Person
DATE/TIME: Tuesday, 03/22/2022 at 1900 hours
LOCATION: 2208 W Hickory Rd, Barry Township, Barry County, Michigan

INFORMATION: The Barry County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance with locating a missing person. Angela Denise Mulder, 39 years old was last seen Friday, 03/18/2022 at approximately 0400 hours. Angela left her parents residence after a physical altercation.

On 03/20/2022, Angela’s family contacted law enforcement advising Angela had still not returned home.

Angela was last seen wearing a tank top and black stretchy pants with blue on the side. She was barefoot when she left the residence.

Angela Denise Mulder, 39 years old was last seen Friday, 03/18/2022 at approximately 0400 hours. Angela left her parents residence after a physical altercation.

This information is very concerning. Angela left her parent's home, at 4;00AM, after a 'physical altercation'? Was this altercation with a family member, spouse, or friend?

The fact that she left wearing a tank top, black stretchy pants, and was barefoot, would seem to indicate she left the home quickly, without any kind of planning. There's no mention of a coat or jacket, and at 4:00AM, during March, in Michigan, it would be quite cold.

There's also no mention of a phone. Do we know if Angela had a phone? If so, did she take it with her or was it left behind?

"The body of a Barry County woman who went missing last week has been found.

The Barry County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that 39-year-old Angela Denise Mulder was found deceased in a field near the area of Hickory and Mann Road in Barry Township by the Barry Township Police Department."

RIP Angela. I can't bear thinking that she might have been fatally injured in the fight and was suffering out in that cold field.

Was it ever determined with whom the physical altercation occurred? I wondered if LE are continuing to investigate.

Very sad situation.
