Troy police are seeking help from the public in locating a teen missing since Sunday and who possibly is traveling by bus to California.

Delaney Schuh, 16, is approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and 140 pounds. She was last seen with long blonde hair and brown eyes, but there's information that she may have cut her hair short and may be wearing contact lenses to change her eye color.

Police said she might be using the alias "Heidi Kay."

That's what I think, too. Only "bus" I can think of is Greyhound, and they travel specific routes with fairly frequent stops. Authorities should be able to locate the missing teen knowing that she's most likely traveling by bus.

I wonder what her intrest in California is.

^ Per photos on social media, she might be trying to launch a modeling career.

I hope she wasn't lured with promises and such.....it's so very dangerous, traffickers are very cunning, especially with an impressionable and naive young girl with big dreams.
She needs to be found asap...

I am from this area, and I read this news on Facebook.

I made a profile here to specifically share about a recent sketchy craigslist ad I saw while looking for apartments titled "Who wants to move to California".

In the ad, the poster claimed to be an "attractive actor" moving to southern California for their next film and was looking for women in the "Troy/Clawson/R.O./Birmingham/Rochester" area for "fame, fortune, and opportunity".

This may have nothing to do with her disappearance, but the very second I read this news, I immediately thought back to that weird ad.

I really hope that this information is helpful.

^ Good grief....seriously?

This is the sort of thing that's very scary....and which has been on my mind in this case. Luring young women with fairy tales.
I hope such a thing is not the case here.

Missing Troy teen found safe

Troy police thanked the public for assistance in locating a teen missing since Sunday and who they feared was possibly traveling by bus to California.

“Delaney Shuh, the Troy 16 year old reported missing earlier today, was located locally this evening,” the City of Troy reported. “We are still investigating and will share further information as it is available. At this time, Delaney is safe and we thank our local media and community for helping us get the word out.” ...

Sounds like the teen didn't get too far from home. Glad she's safe.

In light of what's going on with Harvey Weinstein, among others in La-La Land, Hollywood is no place for an impressionable teen. If this lovely teen wants to pursue acting/modeling, there are plenty of opportunities in metro-Detroit while she finishes her education. :moo:
