Family stated they had not had contact with Dionno in a couple weeks and called law enforcement for a welfare check.

Detroit police search for missing 56-year-old man last seen in April

Dionno Denby was last seen around noon April 27 in the 19300 block of Carman Street, police said. He has never been missing in the past, officials said.

Denby is about 6 feet tall and weighs around 170 pounds. He has a slim build, a bald head and a tattoo of a wolf with blue eyes on his left shoulder and arm.

Police said Denby is in good physical and mental health.

Dionno's daughter misses her dad. She and her mom have been working with authorities to find him but they need tips. I wonder how old his son is and why he wasn't in the Crime Stoppers video? I guess he could be out of town or something.

If Dionno moved, where'd he put all of his furniture and belongings? That phone's account should be examined forensically to see where it's been and if/how it's been used. I hope the reward helps them get answers soon. (moo)

• enlisted the help of ... the mother of his child. "I kept calling...and I couldn’t reach him," ... "Then, I went over there...spoke to the son ...said he had moved.
• ...daughter...studying abroad...returned ...nowhere to be found.
• not the type to just disappear
• recently ...phone was disconnected - "I just called it like a month ago and it just got turned off,"

So sad for the daughter, to come back from such an amazing experience and find her dad missing. A few questions (and NOT accusing or pointing fingers with these, just curious in order to get a clearer picture of events):

- It sounds like the son was living with him? Was he the last one to see his father before he was missing? When did they last have contact? Why did he say his dad moved out?

- Diamond said her father’s phone was turned off the month previously as of the December 2020 news piece posted above— were police able to triangulate it’s location or get any info by tracking it? I may have missed it, but that would be great to know in terms of his movements, at the least.

- Do they have dentals? I’m glad they can at least get DNA from his daughter for comparisons, if necessary.

I feel so sad for his family, especially during another holiday season with Dionno missing. I hope they get answers very soon.
