ROYAL OAK, Mich (WLNS) - The Michigan State Police is asking for the public's help in safely finding Emily Jane Roberts.
The 21-year-old female was last seen at "ORANGE THERAPY" at 905 Main St. in Royal Oak at about 9:45 AM.
Emily is 5'3" and about 135 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen in a dark blue wool mid length coat, black leggings, brown and tan boat shoes. She also has a small hot pink purse.
The women is severely autistic and cognitively impaired. She is also suspected on not using her medication.
After her grandfather dropped her off at a therapy appointment this morning that she never attended, her mother who shares an Uber application with her found out she traveled to the Detroit Greyhound Bus Terminal in Royal Oak Michigan.
Her mother says Emily did not have permission to leave or travel. She is a resident of North Carolina, but has been living with her aunt in Beverly Hills, Michigan since February of this year.
Detectives have confirmed the women got onto a bus to Jacksonville, Florida which stopped in Columbus, Ohio.
The mother did say that Emily does not like to be touched, but is asking that if her daughter is found that she be held so that the mother can come to pick her up.
Michigan State Police are asking the public to call 911 if they have any information about her whereabouts.
