Details of Disappearance
Pinkston was last seen by relatives in Detroit, Michigan during the winter holidays of 1983/1984. She has never been heard from again. Her loved ones stated she hitchhiked frequently and may have been headed back to Cincinnati, or any other city in Ohio.

Pinkston is a 1969 graduate of Withrow High School in Cincinnati, and was admitted to Howard University to study English. Few details are available in her case.

I wonder if she can possibly be a Samuel Little victim given the connection to Ohio.

I came to suggest a possible connection to Little also. A news article came across my newsfeed and it seemed to give quite a bit of detail about the victim. Especially where she was living and the fact that she was living with someone. He said “she wasn’t someone who would not be missed.” Fannette seems to meet some of the criteria...I think it would be just a matter of finding her now. FYI NamUs has a DLC of April 24, 1984 listed for her.

Fannette Marie Pinkston, was last seen in Detroit, Michigan.

It is believed that Fannette left on April 20th, 1984, to visit relatives on her mother's side of the family, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She did have relatives in other area's of Ohio. Fannette was 34 years old when she disappeared, and hasn't been seen since.
