This is pretty callous-the basis of the scam is someone calls the elderly person claiming to be a relative in trouble and requests that money be wired immediately....

Thanks believe09, this is a good warning to get out here. I don't think my mom would wire money anywhere, but I'll be happy to warn her of the scam (just in case)!:blowkiss:
