I couldn't find the court records for the charges noted in the mugshots.com listing (which comes from public record) as it lists the 8th Circuit court and the arresting town/county as Delton/Barry, but there is no 8th Circuit court for that county in the MiCourts system (some states don't have online search capability for all courts and counties) I did find these recent records in the county records from the county he went missing in. Court documents obtained by News 10 show a possible motive and detail the fateful night that resulted in the murder of 42-year-old Gregory Brian Pennington, from Nashville, Michigan.

Lucas Forquer, Bradley Lance, William Chaney and Jenelle Mello were all charged with torture after Pennginton’s body was found in Eaton County. Lance also faces a murder charge alongside other felonies.

The documents show transcripts of detectives in court, outlining how police believe the murder unfolded.

According to the documents, Chaney and Forquer had been living on separate campers on a Chester Township property at the time of the murder. Pennington visited the property on Nov. 11, 2024, with his friend Mello to check on vehicles Chaney was working on.
