Police searching for missing Scio Township man

The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for a missing/endangered person. Henry Christian Nuwer-Cerniglia (commonly known as Chris) was last seen by a work crew around 12:00pm on Friday July 6th at his home in the 1000 block of Bandera Dr. in Scio Township.
After Chris failed to return home family members contacted the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office. All efforts to locate or contact Mr. Nuwer-Cerniglia have been met without success.

Missing Scio Township man found safe, returned to family

Henry Christian Nuwer-Cirniglia was reportedly located early Tuesday morning, July 10, and has been safely returned home, according to a statement from the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office.

Details regarding the disappearance and where he was found are not being released at this time.
