His sister notified the Elkhart County, Indiana Sheriff's Dept. that her brother had left for Kalamazoo, MI to visit a friend and hadn't been heard from since. His vehicle was later recovered being driven by this friend, in Allegan County, Michigan. Foul play is suspected.

The homicide victim found in Delhi Township has been identified as Phuong Thanh Tran, Ingham County Sheriff Gene Wriggelsworth said at a press conference Dec. 13.

I think that's different person. Phuong Thanh Tran was identified as the victim. He still has a Namus page:
