Parinnello-Davey and Gabbard were last seen together, leaving about 10:50 p.m. Aug. 16 in a white 2004 Chevrolet Malibu from the Econo Lodge, 6500 E. Albain Rd. The car has a Michigan license plate of DHP3192.

I think this is Monroe County, Michigan, not Ohio. The title needs to be corrected.

More pertinent details can be found on fb pages of his and her children. Also, it seems like the families are doing a lot to find them.

Some new info:

Apparently they were on a first date, meeting up at the Econolodge in Luna Pier off of I-75 on Friday. According to family, they were seen on surveillance leaving at 10:50pm in a white Chevy Malibu. They were last seen leaving the Toledo Beach Marina in La Salle at 1:30am on Saturday. On Sunday they were reported missing. A public search for them took place near the highway, where one of their phones last pinged.

After first date, two people missing in SE Michigan

This is definitely a strange one... first date? both missing?

Edited. I figured it out.

Most likely an accident.
I'm seeing the words marina and pier given in the last location so i'm assuming close to water?

Yes, that's what I'm thinking also. Both their phones last pinged near the pier and shut off two minutes after pinging, or something like that. I'm guessing they drove into water somewhere. :(

Jill's last name is misspelled in the thread title. The correct last name is Parrinello-Davey.

Sad update condolences to their loved ones. That marina looks dangerously close to the water.

Family says missing SE Michigan couple found deceased

Bodies of missing couple pulled from submerged car

From the second link:

Moody said the car was in about 13 feet of water about 50 feet offshore. The car also was close to the parking lot of the Sand Bar where the couple had been visiting.

Moody theorized that the couple left the bar and the driver of the car mistakenly drove into the lake. He said it could not be determined who was behind the wheel because neither was wearing a seat belt.

I learned of the couple's death on WDIV news Friday night before I went to bed. I figured site was down and didn't post. There has been heavy rain and severe flooding in Monroe County for the past couple of weeks. Many roads were flooded and inaccessible. At night, someone not familiar with the lakeshore area might not have realized where roads were under water. Very sad, but I'm sure this was an unfortunate and tragic accident.
