DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 44-year-old man with mental health related concerns.

John Carter was last seen leaving his home on the 9900 block of Abington on Saturday, March 19th, 2016 at approximately 8:30 a.m. According to his brother, John leaves his home daily to collect cans and bottle but returns home between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

John is described as a black male, 44-years-old, 5’9″, 150 lbs., dark brown complexion, brown eyes, black hair with a full beard and mustache. John was last seen wearing a red and black jacket, brown khaki pants, and a black skull cap.

John is in good physical condition but does have mental health related concerns and takes medication daily.
