MONTMORENCY COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- The Montmorency Sheriff’s Office is looking for a missing 77-year-old woman with dementia last seen by her family Wednesday afternoon in Loud Township.

Deputies said Karen Adams left in a silver 2018 Chevy Cruze in an unknown direction, but could be heading to Port Huron where she has a home and family.

She left her cell phone and credit cards behind, but may have a small amount of cash.

She may be wearing a white coat and red pants.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at (989) 785-4238 ext. 1.

Adams was found dead around 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, in Big Creek Township. Her body was less than a mile from her vehicle. Officials believe exposure to the elements caused her death, but an official cause has not been confirmed. Foul play is not suspected.
