Police are looking for a missing Lansing man who was last seen in DeWitt Township about two weeks ago.

Kevin Lee Wallace, 52, was last seen at the Town & Country Motel in DeWitt Township on the morning of March 6, his daughter Destiny Brewer said.

Brewer said her father is the primary caretaker for his mother — her grandmother. Due to his responsibilities, she said, he never goes away for extended periods of time without checking in.

Police are continuing to investigate what led up to Wallace being located in the river near the Brenke Fish Ladder, but say foul play is not suspected at this time.

According to Google Maps, the Brenke Fish Ladder is only about 2.5 - 3 miles from the Town and Country Motel. I wonder if Kevin was out fishing the day he was last seen? My thoughts go out to his daughter & mom who must be devastated.
