ST. JOSEPH, Mich. (WWJ) - Police are asking for tips in the case of an Illinois woman who disappeared in southwest Michigan.

Kristan B. Cooper was last seen in St. Joseph, Michigan, on April 6, 2019. She was last heard from that night before 10:30 p.m., according to family.
In St. Joseph, located just south of Benton Harbor, Cooper was supposed to board an Amtrak train heading to Galesburg, Illinois, by way of Chicago; arriving in Galesburg the following afternoon.
She wasn't on the train, according to police.
Cooper is 28 years old, around 5'5" tall and weighs approximately 110 lbs. She has several tattoos which include a scorpion on her side, paw print on each shoulder, butterflies on lower stomach, doves on her foot and “bleeding the American flag” on her other side
She was last seen wearing a pink t-shirt, blue jeans and a tan jacket.
Family members have said Cooper may be confused if approached. They are concerned about her safety.
Anyone who may have seen this missing woman or who knows of her whereabouts is asked to call Galesburg, IL Police Department at 309-343-9151.
