Construction worker finds body along Lake St. Clair shoreline

Grosse Pointe Shores — A body was found Wednesday morning near the breakwall of the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club.

According to Lt. Scott Rohr, the discovery was made at about 7 a.m. Wednesday.

“A construction worker working in the area of the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club called to say that there appeared to be a body on the shoreline near the break wall,” Rohr said. “We sent officers and they did confirm that the body of an unknown person was in that area and appeared to be in the water for some time.”

According to Rohr, the body has been released to the Wayne County Medical Examiner’s Office for cause of death and identification...

Sounds like they're speculating it might be Marcus Braggs, who went fishing during rough weather on April 13 and didn't return home. He doesn't appear to have a thread here.
