Green Oak Township police are investigating whether the human remains found Wednesday in a ravine near U.S. 23 and Nine Mile Road are those of a Hamburg Township man missing since 2005.



**This hits a soft spot for me - especially since the remains were found within 2 miles of our home. They are saying now that they believe he may have fell into the "marshland" and was just to deep to locate....

An autopsy has determined the human remains found last week in a ravine along US-23 in Green Oak Township are those of John Gilboe, who was reported missing in 2005, police said.
