Help police find missing Detroit man who suffers from Alzheimer's disease

Neckalas Maddox, 65, was last seen at 11 a.m. Friday at his home on the 18000 block of Gilchrist in northwest Detroit.

Maddox is black, 6 feet tall, weighs 180 pounds and has gray hair and light gray facial hair. He was last seen wearing a gray skull cap with an Old English "D" on it, black coat, blue jeans that were rolled at the cuffs and black boots.

Police said he is in good physical health, but has dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

Anyone who has seen Maddox or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call the Detroit Police Department's Eighth Precinct at 313-596-5800 or 313-596-5840.

Detroit police say a 65-year-old man who was reported missing on Friday has been found safe.

Police said Saturday morning that Neckalas Maddox was located and is doing fine. No further details on his recovery were released.
