FLINT, Michigan (WJRT) - (09/08/2017) - UPDATE Friends and family of women who have gone missing in Flint and Flint Township hit the streets of south and east Flint Friday night in a desperate search, trying to find clues to the whereabouts of their loved ones


ABC 12's Amy Hybels went along with them as they scoured local neighborhoods, searching for answers.

They rolled through neighborhoods, talking with anyone who would listen.

"We need help, we need more people out looking, " noted Sabrina Barnes."We have to do something as Flint residents to help there girls, before they're found dead."

Barnes is on a mission, to find her friend Presley Rau, who is also known as 'Amy Jo'.

The 27-year old mother of three has been missing for more than three weeks.

"It's not about her lifestyle," her mother Connie Rau explained, "she's loved, her family and kids need her"

Rau says she last spoke with her daughter by phone on August 11th.

(11/09/2017) - Two days after partial remains of two human bodies were found in Flint's Broome Park, a woman looking for her missing daughter said police are asking for dental records.

Stein plans to attend the event, which runs from 12pm to 4pm, with Connie Rau, whose daughter Presley Rau, went missing on August 14th from the area of Fenton and Atherton Roads in Flint.

Rau said talking about her daughter's disappearance has grown increasingly difficult with her seven-year old granddaughter, now that her mom has been gone for six months.

"We were talking and she told me all she wants for her birthday is her mommy," said Rau, fighting back tears.
Rau said she was contacted by Flint police after two skulls were found in Broome Park on November 7th.

Dental records ruled her daughter out as being one of the victims, and Rau said reports of recent sightings of Presley have her hoping her daughter is still alive.

She said getting Flint police to take her daughter's case seriously was difficult initially.
"I know when Presley first went missing, I was told because of her lifestyle, that they probably wouldn't look for her," she said.
Rau said she still doesn't think they are taking her daughter's case seriously enough, and she's glad the Michigan State Police are getting involved.
Rau plans to participate in their "ID the Missing Event" on Thursday.
"At least they would have that and they could make a match if she was found," she said.

FLINT, MI -- It has been a little over three years since Connie Rau last spoke with her daughter.

She talked over the phone with Presley Rau on Aug. 8, 2017.

The pair were supposed to go on an outing the following day with Presley’s three daughters.

She remains missing to this day after last being seen in September 2017 near Fenton and Atherton roads on the Flint’s south side.

Presley Rau was one of several missing persons highlighted by a group of people who wants them found and gathered Thursday outside of the Flint Police Department in hopes of bringing attention to the cases.

Connie Rau was joined by members of the Missing People on Genesee County group outside the police department in downtown Flint. The group is seeking a renewed effort in helping find her daughter and others that have gone missing in the Fenton Road area.

Connie Rau said the last time she spoke with Flint police around one year ago, she was asked if her daughter had been found.

“No, she isn’t, and they should know that,” said Connie Rau.

In speaking and keeping in touch with families since the group was founded in 2017, Stein said “They’re losing hope.”

“They feel as though they’re fighting this battle alone,” she said. “They feel as though they’re not getting anywhere.”

“I know there’s people that know and at the time (of her disappearance) there were people that were afraid for their own lives, but they can remain anonymous,” she said.
