I haven't seen this other facebook of hers linked - though maybe I missed an earlier post. This FB has links to her Instagram, Spotify, and TikTok accounts.

True. They were not officially married though. According to Richard, there had been cheating.

That's bizarre, mentioning the cheating in such moment. Equally bizarre is Richard's claim that he was not concerned with her vanishing because they are not normal people or partners. I mean what about his child she was carrying, the child that was about to be born? Where is his concern about his child?

It's more fishy than a barrell full of fish.

I don’t know how it is in Michigan but in my state if there’s already an active CPS case against you (or specifically one in which children have been taken from you and they aren’t in your custody) any following baby you give birth to will be taken away at the hospital. Only when the previous case officially closes does this stop. Babies are also very commonly taken (as they should be) when they and/or the mom test positive for drugs.*

I don’t know if this has been discussed before but could RP have anticipated either or both of these two scenarios happening, so she fled to give birth “underground” in a misguided attempt to keep the baby?

There’s someone I know who gave up rights to her three oldest children (and went to jail for unpaid child support) who got pregnant after serving the time. She was very gleeful, proudly announcing that CPS couldn’t take this baby from her because she signed away rights to her other three and closed the case.

*I vaguely remember a case where a baby was allowed to go home with the mom despite testing positive for everything under the sun and unsurprisingly the baby ended up being killed from neglect/abuse.
I do wonder if perhaps she is in hiding, either from CPS if she's afraid they will take the baby, or from some of those around her in her life. I live a couple of hours away and the fighting, name-calling and vitriol back and forth on social media is horrendous. I hope she decided to get away to create a better life for herself and the baby. I wonder if she doesn't want to even call law enforcement to tell them she is OK because she doesn't want many in her life to know and may be afraid of what would happen if they do know that she is out there somewhere. I'm praying for her and the baby.

According to Richard while on a recorded interview over tik tok, He stated that her bio mom picked her up around 6:45 and she said she'd be back in a couple of hours. They were going to Culver's to get milk shakes, and this was also when she was supposed to recieve the $2000 cash. Richard stated that he then fell asleep at 7:45 and didn't wake up until the next morning. He stated that after she did not respong, he pinged her phone via her google account on a second phone of hers that was at home with him since it was only usable via wifi. This is also when Richard saw multiple texts and calls from Cortney. He claimed that he told her sister Kimberly where the phone was located, and the sister informed Cortney who then retrieved the phone. He wasn't concerned because they're not normal people or partners. He pointed out that she had a tendency to "wander" so it wasn't out of the question that she'd be gone.
Not normal people is for damn sure!!

IMO not likely that she was trying to get out of the situation. Richard stated that she was "hitting the pipe about 4 times a day" right up until the day she disappeared. Her visit to the hospital, thinking she was in labor, showed that she fully intended to deliver the baby right there in Cadillac. I have a feeling that her living situation about 2 1/2 weeks prior to her disappearance may be the best clue out there, avoiding her bio mom's distractions. The property got raided and she was 1 of only 3 people there who didn't get arrested on serious drug charges.

What a proud father to be sharing moment! "She was only hitting the pipe about 4 times a day". I'm hoping she left to go to a live in momma and baby rehab to try to get clean for herself and child. IMO

Richard sure likes throwing shade at Rebecca. He likes it way too much for my taste.

Link below: Richard comes in about 1:50

For other's following the thread:
The video above is a rather long but very interesting livestream with various community members regarding the disappearance of Rebecca Park.
Rebecca's partner Richard might not be boyfriend of the year, but at least he is open and upfront answering questions.

If this is true, the baby would undoubtedly have been removed from her care and jurisdiction upon birth in a hospital. Could this be why the grandmother didnt want her laboring daughter taken to the hospital? That kid would only be worth monthly income to them if she was delivered out of hospital.

And for full disclosure, my youngest grand cherub was fostered then adopted straight from the hospital in just such a scenario. The birth mom had lost a baby previously for the very same thing. Child is truly amazing and doing very very well in every regard.

What kind of monthly income?

Food assistance, aid to dependent parents, housing assistance, just generally whatever is available by way of what is commonly called "welfare".

I was aware of a case in my own district of a man who was impregnating his own intellectually disabled daughter for the income. She may have had previous babies that ended up being dumpstered before the final one was caught by a very astute ob-gyn who had dna tests done that verified the parentage of the baby as incestuous.

He basically was running a baby-mill. The poor daughter didnt even own a toothbrush and had to be shown how to use it in the medical clinic and also given showers before her appointments as she was never bathed. She may well have eventually been dumpstered herself after her emergency hysterectomy made her unable to reproduce again.

The things I saw in those mountains and in social services have been lifetime traumatizing though that was a lifetime ago.

There's a couple of things about this case that don't add up.
From the livestream above -

Rebecca's bio mother (Courtney) is thought to be the last person to see Rebecca.

After Rebecca was born, Courtney either gave up or lost custody of Rebecca, so she was fostered by another woman.
Rebecca and Courtney don't get along and she was scared to go over there by herself.

The only reason that she met up with Courtney, was that she was promised a $2000 inheritance from another family member that was said to have died. Both Richard and other community members seem to think that money never existed.

Courtney changed her story about the car that she said collected Rebecca - it was a a dark SUV/ a minivan / a dark Chevy Impala.

Courtney's partner Richard used the Google "Find my device" function on Rebecca's old phone to locate her current phone. It was located on a two-track near Courtney's house. When he went over to collect it from Courtney, he found that it had been powered off. He said that when he checked, it powered on fine and the battery had charge.

Edit - forgot my MOO 🐮🐮🐮

Gotcha. But that is only available if there’s a baby and a birth certificate and social security number assigned. So it’s not like having the baby outside the hospital disappears the birth from the system and CYF oversight. I just don’t see how that would link to her disappearing.

What community members? I might have been missing something but I haven't seen anyone but Richard talking about that alleged inheritance.

Birth certificates and ss# can be easily had in home births, happens all the time. Home birthers generally don't do toxicology tests for things like mom smoking crack several times a day everyday as reported in this case. Hospital staff would see the signs and likely test the baby then hold the mom for law enforcement action. Baby would be removed from mom's custody (along with the increased "welfare" benefits ) before ever leaving the hospital.

I'm just wondering if that was the reason for "don't take her to the hospital", that she'd have the baby taken from her. And it might kick off warrants to search their house too. If these are people who live on public benefits, the loss could matter and certainly being reported to law enforcement could matter.

Maybe she is being shielded until she and the baby are fine. Maybe they offer her to prevent being sent up themselves.

Was it confirmed by anyone or anything else but Richard that Rebecca was a drug addict?

I have no idea. But if she was, a hospital would likely have caught it. Could be an explanation for "don't take her to the hospital".

Maybe she did go to a hospital, gave birth, and was directly admitted to a rehab institution. Privacy laws would prevent any of this information from being available.

If she were in hospital police would say she was located and she's safe. JMO/MOO

Rebecca's mum appeared in a subsequent live stream and suggested that her two daughters both promiscuous drug addicts.
To be fair she pretty much designated every character in the story to be filthy criminals (aside from herself), so that information ought to be taken with a grain of salt.
