Hoping (against all odds) that the baby is alive and somewhere safe.
I agree with you, this is going to turn out to be truly uglyCrazy to see Becca's sister in custody.
IIRC, she was the one who reported Becca missing in the first place.
Woof, this is an ugly mess.
WHERE IS THE BABY???
IMO.
How would this be explained away? Try to claim she gave birth at home? That has never worked for womb robbers in the past. MOO.If their evil and stupid plan had worked, and Cortney ended up with the newborn baby she so desperately wanted (imo), I wonder if she planned on raising it as the child of her and Rich?

As of yet no. it's all speculation that RB was found without the baby. During the press conference last night the officers would not answer the question and stated "No comment".Is there solid confirmation that the baby was NOT found with Rebecca? MSM/LE?
I think that's plausible (or not impossible) but I just can't stop thinking this is a malevolent crime and not one born of negligence or idiocy. MOO.Could it be that RP had the baby when she was with her sister (to avoid the hospital), and passed during/shortly after childbirth, and sister panicked and didn’t want to baby to be taken away from her? Or if the baby passed, too, maybe she panicked thinking she would get in trouble?
The “no comment” response actually makes me hopeful that the baby is alive. I can’t think of a reason to hide the baby’s death (other than that it’s horrific), but there could be a custody/DCF/privacy reason for keeping the baby’s status a secret if s/he is still living. As of yet no. it's all speculation that RB was found without the baby. Came here and saw this after I said similar elsewhere. I am hopeful she OD and they attempted to save the baby and that’s the real story but we know it’s not likelyCould it be that RP had the baby when she was with her sister (to avoid the hospital), and passed during/shortly after childbirth, and sister panicked and didn’t want to baby to be taken away from her? Takes more than one to move a body though, so many other family members were involved after the crime? I’m almost hoping that this is the case because it would mean that her sister didn’t hurt her intentionally.
It also might be a technicality around "arrest(ed) in connection with the case." It appears that RF, for example, was actually arrested due to not complying with his RSO requirements. But anyone who pays attention to crime news knows that arresting people on outstanding unrelated charges is an extremely common LE tactic to keep people contained in the early stages of an investigation. (bbm)At the time of her disappearance, according to police and Northern Michigan media, she was reported to be 38 or 39 weeks pregnant. The status of her child was not clear as of early Tuesday night.
No arrests have been made in connection with the case.
Sheriff’s deputies and the Michigan State Police have both reportedly participated in searches in the area, later followed by searches among volunteers.

well it is clear people are in custody per vinelink but I am thinking maybe not officially charged until they appear in court so perhaps technically correct but that may change after court appearances which may be happening this afternoon.
No it hasn't, BUT no one involved in this seems like the brightest lightbulb in the box or really even able to plan ahead effectively. How would this be explained away? Try to claim she gave birth at home? That has never worked for womb robbers in the past. MOO.
