I don't recall when she was looking for scrubs. I recall reading about it but not the when of it. IF before Becca's disappearance, is it possible she was toying with the idea of stealing Becca's or another woman's baby from the hospital?

I mean, I know that sounds far fetched but is it so far fetched considering what Cortney actually ended up doing?

I was wondering about the hospital scenario myself. And yes, I think she would be that methed up and stupid! IMO

I am not sure, but I wonder, if she did, could the baby have been a girl instead so she decided she didn't want it since it didn't fit into her telling people she had a boy? I thought I read that she said she had a baby and it was in NICU or something along those lines.

I think Becca knew the baby was a boy and had told people that, so Cortney would have known, too (I know ultrasound readings can be wrong, but AFAIK it's not very common). Becca's Facebook or Instagram bio said that she planned to name the little guy Richard, after his father and grandfather

Yes. I believe they just wounded her at first because they planned to give her a c-section, by cutting out the baby, and keeping him alive. But of course they are moronic imbeciles and both victims died a gruesome horrific death.

In reality, I think she wanted to inflict torture on her bio daughter. Because, in M00, she could have gotten her hands on alprazolam (Xanax) and clonazepam (Klonopin), or something else. They would have knocked her out or overdosed Rebecca.

Instead, I'm sure RP was fighting them and flailing. Im sure there was screaming and violence and blood everywhere. It had to have been a volatile, brutal gutting.

If she really wanted that baby, and I think CB did, she could have cut her open without all the violence and savagery. Needless to say all done on the brutal cold November ground.

Did she dose it with something to bring on labour? Were they going to bring Rebecca’s baby boy home and pass him off as their own while explaining Rebecca away as skipping town with a stack of cash? The searchers spooked them or their plan to deliver the baby failed and he died IMO.

And, they could've held her captive until she delivered. It was bound to happen soon. The ordeal still would've been horrible but without the torture of a botched c-section by meth-heads and with a better chance for a live birth.

I am hoping RP was somehow drugged before the torture. Wishful thinking, perhaps, trying to find some speck of humanity where there is none.

Cortney had posted a video on her Facebook page on the same day her daughter was due to give birth, with a caption that read: "My alibi of where I was the night my daughter came up missing."

In the video — which features only a black screen with audio — her 14-year-old son said: "She gave me my meds at about 8:40, I don't remember a lot as I just said, but she was there when I went to bed and she was also there when I woke up the next day. I know that she never goes out and about when I'm sleeping just because she doesn't like to drive at night."

Courtney is a foul creature who deserves as much sympathy as she gave Rebecca and her unborn child.

I feel terrible for her teen-age son who has been exposed to that vile woman - I can't even imagine what that young man has witnessed. I am hoping someone will step-up and care for him - my guess is he has suffered a lot under Courney's supervision or, should I say, lack of supervision.

Every time I think about what horrors Rebecca must have experienced, I get so angry and disgusted. GRRRR!

in this mornings do over hearing, the public defender did once again argue for bond for his client, this time mentioning the 14 year old son at home and made much ado about her many friends and family in the community.

Judge of course denied that request for bond.

ETA once again Cortney spoke and said she was willing to "work" with the prosecutors and willing to be sentenced to be jailed at home with an ankle monitor judge was about as impressed as you are reading that.

I think there is evidence with RP that the baby didn't survive outside the mother's body, but I don't have the medical knowledge to know what that could be. I don't think that communication, if that exists, without physical evidence would be enough to charge them with causing miscarriage/stillbirth, but idk.

I just can't imagine the shocking inhumanity of this case. WS is filled with pages of deeds done by psychopaths. People who care as little about the pain and suffering of others as taking out the trash.

This woman is even low for prison. I hope that they make this a DP case. Some people just deserve it.
