VERY interesting!!!!!! I wish I knew who it was about.It doesnt sound like the family actually reported her missing so its doubtful shes on doenetwork but I guess we could look since we know the area and the date.

I hope this story gets updated soon-it sounds fascinating!

Well, this is the only missing female listed for 1976 on the Doe Network.....doesn't seem like it'd be her. Totally different circumstances.

I didn't find anything on DN or Namus about bones in Romulus 2004.

The search for human remains beneath a Romulus garage has led to the discovery of bones, Local 4 reported.

I called the Romulus PD to find out if the case had ever been resolved.

I spoke with Capt. Leacher, and he indicated that a body was never found in connection with that "confession". He said that they initially found what they thought might have been teeth, but it turned out to be nothing.

He says that it was related to a very old missing person case, but he does not recall the name of the missing woman, and he would have to pull file boxes from storage in another part of the state to get her name.
