Police are looking for a missing man from the Ionia area.

• Ronnie Thompson, also known as “Country,” has been missing since Jan. 29.
• Thompson is 39 years old and 6-feet-2-inches tall.
• Ionia County Sheriff Charlie Noll confirmed that his dept took the report on Feb. 1.
• “We have put in hours following leads and rumors and so on but have not found or made contact with him,” Noll told The Sentinel-Standard on Tuesday, Feb. 16.
• The Michigan DOC website lists Thompson as an absconder from parole. Thompson absconded from parole last Nov after being released from parole last Sept. He received prison sentences for possessing methamphetamine, unlawful driving away of an automobile and furnishing a cellphone to a prisoner.

Isn't this last paragraph oddly placed within the article? Besides mention in this article, I could find no MSM or LE alerts for Corey's disappearance. Can ppl make MP reports through FB?

Ronnie Dale Thompson III age 39 of Pewamo passed away unexpectedly January 29, 2021. He was born December 16, 1981 in Dinuba, California the son of R. D. T. and V. M. R. Ronnie nicknamed “Country” by his friends was loved by all that met him. He was very handy and could fix just about anything. He was a good friend, compassionate and loving to all. Ronnie will be greatly missed by his family. [snip]
