It's hard to tell from the details released just which children were rescued. If Demink pleaded down and avoided charges against, say the Oregon child, where's that child? Was his mother charged? Is that little boy in state care?
I'm in Oregon and I've not seen any fairly recent charges of sexual abuse involving a mother and a son with autism. And I'm in a position where I would most likely hear of such a crime through other channels. This is really upsetting to me.
