Shatara Jones, 36, sent a text about being upset to her cousin just before 2:20 p.m. Monday. She was last seen in the 14000 block of Lappin Street.

Jones' cousin tried to contact her, but was unable to. Jones didn't show up for work Tuesday. Jones is in good physical and mental condition.

She was last seen driving a gray 2010 Chevrolet Traverse.

37 yr old Woman Disappears after sending Relative Text Message | Archive of MI Headlines

A Detroit woman who sent a relative a text message and then disappeared has been reported to Detroit Police as missing.

She sent a text to her cousin telling her she was tired and emotionally upset.

The cousin attempted to reach her but was unable to make contact. Shatara did not show up to work on August 6th and her family is very concerned for her safety.
