Woman missing from Kalamazoo County

COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. – The Kalamazoo County Sheriff is asking for help in finding a missing Comstock Township woman.

Taylor Britman, 21, was last seen leaving her home in the area of Fawn Meadow Trail, which is in the N. 30th Street and East Michigan Avenue area of Comstock, Tuesday morning.

Britman is described as being black, about 5’7″ tall and 160 lbs. Family was not able to offer a description of her clothing.

Family of missing Comstock woman believes she may be in danger

COMSTOCK, Mich. — Authorities say a missing Comstock woman walked away from her home Tuesday morning and her family believes she might be in danger.

Police say 21-year-old Taylor Britman left her home in Comstock under very unusual circumstances. They believe she may have been seen in Battle Creek.

Bryanan Britman, her father, is heartbroken. Police said Taylor left her home in the Comstock area near East Michigan Avenue and North 30th Street Tuesday morning.

"Family said this is so unusual and that it's highly abnormal for her to leave like this and to have left behind all of the items she would normally have with her," Kalamazoo County Sheriff Richard Fuller said.

Bryanan said she left their home with nothing; no phone, water or personal belongings.

"I left to go to the store and I came back and she wasn't here. she had just come back from a run and got out of the shower before I left for the store," Bryanan said.

Her father said she has a medical condition that sometimes makes her delusional and disoriented.
