Circumstances of Discovery

The deceased, a pedestrian, was attempting to cross the Palmetto Expressway and was struck by a car.
The deceased was given first aid on the scene and then transferred to Jackson Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced expired.

You would think he would have had ID on him and his prior surgery are such big clues. Astonishing that he remains unidentified.

Only there’s so little information on MP I’d have been curious if it was Alphonso Mathis, missing from Jacksonville FL since 1976, age 26 at the time, no photo or information on his disappearance. Somebody with the same name as him was alive in Orlando in 1980 (child support court records via the Orlando sentinel) and his missing date is January 1 1976, so it’s probably an estimation of his time of disappearance I’d guess. The Alphonso Mathis listed in the Orange County court records died in 1986. Interesting that there are two people with such a unique name and about the same height.
