A police helicopter was scrambled today help find a missing Nuneaton man Michael Chatwin. It was circling the Arbury and Bermuda area of town.

Residents heard and saw the helicopter at just before 10.30am and Warwickshire Police has confirmed it was scrambled into the skies to look for the 34-year-old man.

He was last seen in the Heath End Road area at around 3.30am. Warwickshire Police said it was increasingly worried about Michael's whereabouts.

A force spokesman said: "Officers and Michael’s family are growing concerned for his welfare." He has been described as white, around 5ft 8ins of a slim build, with brown hair and blue eyes.

He may be wearing black Puma trainers, black jogging bottoms and a black jacket. Anyone who has seen him or a man matching his description should call Warwickshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 52 of 28 June 2022.
