OK Michael James MacDougal, now 19, missing from Stilwell since 10 December 2020

Was the FBI brought in? Were his electronics examined by experts?

I feel for his family and hope they find him very soon.
I didn't find any family search pages or media outreach efforts. All very strange.

Anyone know how we could find more information on what was done, investigation/search-wise?

Any Oklahoma experts we could pull in?

There is IMO a strange comment in FB concerning that area and another forum
ETA: there is a FB page for him but not from direct family so we cannot link it here

Enough time has gone by that the family/LE/agencies would have put out more information. He's not wearing a backpack, so it seems he wasn't going to school? I don't know whether he typically carries one.
It seems odd to me, that he didn't have a backpack or anything at all. I guess he might have left it in his locker at school? But I'd think most students would have some homework or studying each night?

Was he really headed to school?
Was he doing well in school? Was it typical for him to leave at 8 for a normal school day? Did he have friends, a girlfriend? The lack of information is kind of unusual, after all this time.
Does 8 am seems a little late to just be leaving the house? Maybe he didn't have any early classes?

left with computer on and candle burning; new info

So if the computer was on and a candle burning, maybe he was logged into school (?) But why did he leave?

getting an at best something off and at worst dirty LE vibe here after finding some discussions on the search efforts; it looks like multiple instances of people going to search and being told it was being handled and turned away.

To Note:
Last Seen Wearing: LSW black sweatshirt (2XL) white sweatpants (XL – wears 34×32 pants) hiking boots (SIZE 9.5) Michael normally wore a size 10.5 but the day he left he was wearing his brother’s boots, a size 9.5

This should have caused an amber alert ! He was 15 and there are suspect car descriptions! 4 YEARS! I am heartbroken , he was 15!
An Amber Alert usually isn't issued unless there is a question of abduction, vehicle information, etc. I am not sure exactly what the criteria is in Oklahoma.

Amber alert in OK
The law enforcement agency believes that the child is in imminent danger of serious bodily injury or death
. There is enough descriptive information about the victim and the abduction for law enforcement to issue an AMBER Alert to assist in the recovery of the child. The abduction is of a child aged 17 years or younger.

He was 15 when he went missing…an amber alert should have been triggered. Unless there are details that are not made public that indicate he left on his own volition..

Bumping for Michael, he is an adult by now

Michael left his computer on and a candle burning..sounds like he intended to be right back. Was he going out to meet someone on the side of the road briefly? Did LE check his computer? Did he meet someone online? If Michael had a cell phone and wallet, did he take those? So many questions...

Details of Disappearance

Michael was last seen on a live CCTV feed walking away from Bell Road in Stilwell, Oklahoma at 7:54 a.m. on December 10, 2020. He has never been heard from again.

Based on security videos from various places in the local area, police identified two vehicles of interest: a white SUV (possibly a Chevrolet Suburban) and a black pickup truck (possibly an early 2000s model Chevrolet or GMC) with nerf bars. Photos of the vehicles are posted with this case summary. Both vehicles were driving on Bell Road between 7:50 and 8:00 a.m., about the time Michael disappeared. The drivers are not being called suspects, but investigators would like to interview them.

Authorities believe Michael initially left home of his own accord but that something happened afterwards to prevent him from returning. He hadn't argued with his family the day he disappeared, and he didn't have a girlfriend. His disappearance remains unsolved.

Maybe I'm focusing on something irrelevant but, in the description it states that Michael wore a 10.5 boot , but on the day he went missing, he put on his brother's boots that were a size too small (9.5) why..? Was Michael in a hurry and grabbed the first pair of shoes he seen?
