Adams car was pulled out of a very wide and steep deep flooded ditch late last night. Adam was not in the car. They are currently searching for him.***

Missing Minnesota man's vehicle found submerged in drainage ditch

An extensive search for a man reported missing on Tuesday led to the discovery of his vehicle submerged in a drainage ditch on Thursday.

Still, there have been no signs of Adam Michael Rein, 24, of Buffalo Lake – a small town along Hwy. 212 about 60 miles west of Eden Prairie.

Update 4 p.m.: Body located near Hector, believed to be missing...

According to a news release from the Renville County Sheriff's Office, the man's body has not been identified but it is believed to be Rein. The body has been sent to the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office in Ramsey for identification and an autopsy.

The Sheriff's Office was assisted on Saturday by a local aviator as well as North Star Search and Rescue, a non-profit Minnesota group that handles tracking and cadaver dogs. The Sheriff's Office is continuing its investigation, according to the release.
