Plotts left her home late on Jan. 3, taking a ride-sharing service to St. Paul. She was last known to be in the area of the Wabasha Street Bridge wearing a multi-colored knit stocking cap, an oversized dark grey jacket, brown zippered sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and black Converse shoes with a flame pattern.

This alert is being shared by the BCA on behalf of the listed law enforcement agency. The BCA is not the investigating agency. Please direct all tips, questions or information to the Farmington Police Department - Minnesota.

Plotts does not have a phone or her own car and has been "diagnosed with Autism and may appear young for her age." She may sometimes go by "Alex."

Who ordered the rideshare (noting she “does not have a phone”)?
Doesn’t one generally need a smartphone in order to use a rideshare service?

A family member commented she'd "left her phone at home" on FB comments (unverified)), which to me means she HAS a phone, she just left it behind.

They’re in the Twin Cities, maybe trying to attend a protest? As an autistic teenager I did so without telling my parents multiple times.

ETA that I didn’t notice they left on the 3rd. I guess that’s probably not it, or at least not why they left.
