Do you have another source for this? Preferably something more official?
I am not seeing this confirmed anywhere else. This video also has a few red flags for validity, but maybe it is true. Here are my issues with it:
-The title of the video mentions a "shocking arrest" but there is no arrest mentioned. The narrator claims it was an accidental fall into the river. At least, no arrest after it discusses his remains being found.
-The narrator mispronounced the word "wound" (like an injury) and instead said "wound" (like as in "wound up"). This could be an honest mistake but also could hint at AI generation.
-The video insists that the family kept everything private after he was found, but then goes on to describe how they placed his class ring on the casket or something like that. It went into a lot of detail about the funeral for an event that was private where, technically, only the family would know exactly what happened. Could be creative liberty someone took, but still seems a little weird.
But the biggest thing is that I see no other sources that mention his remains being found or any arrests ever made in association with this case to support the video's claim.
I didn't spend a ton of time searching, so maybe I missed something. Can you share another more reputable source the confirms the discover of remains/closure of the case?
My feeling is either someone is lying or used AI to generate this for clicks. But I would love to know that it really was solved.
