The discovery being discussed in this article was made in August though? These remains were found on September 5.

Whenever I see something about skeletal remains in Duluth I think of Christopher Kerze & maybe it being him. Though I think in this particular case it's historical remains as another person mentioned, local news (I think it was kare11) talked about this one evening saying they believe it was historical. (Not 100% sure on the channel because I was flipping between fox9 & kare11 during commercials).

I think because it is historic remains, and the PMI doesn't matter, they possibly just put Sept 5th. I couldn't find any info indicating any other skeletal partial remains were found in Duluth in 2024..
